Brisighella

It is a hospitable land, rich in tradition, flavours, architectural and natural beauties. It has received the most prestigious awards (“Most beautiful villages in Italy”, “Slow City” and “Bandiera Arancione” (Orange Flag) by the Italian Touring Club), testifying to its value and quality of life. Brisighella is an ancient medieval village with its thermal water in the Lamone Valley among the Tosco-Romagnolo Appennines.
It is situated at the foot of three chalk hills, where the most important monuments, like watchmen, overlook the village: the Venetian and Manfrediana Fortress, the Clock Tower and the Sanctuary of Monticino.
The village is the birthplace of eight cardinals and rich in religious buildings. The Ancient Via del Borgo was built in the historic centre above street level, a covered walkway unique in the world. Strolling along the narrow streets of this splendid village we can discover its exclusive soul.
